Island Telecom has wanted to bring better service to Tyne Valley for three years now. That is simply too long; the Future Can't Wait.
What we have decided to do is to have a ticketed private event for people who live in District 23 and who want to be able to get fibre optic service. It will held in Tyne Valley on August 7, 2018 at 7 PM, and it is a closed meeting for those residents plus invited guests.
We think that by giving everyone a couple of weeks to get together we should then be able to meet, go over how things got to be the way they are, and show what we think is a possible solution. From there, it is up to everyone in the community because government will not be helping any time soon.
